Ministerial Program At A Glance

academics4 This diploma is awarded to students who complete 90 credits/10 courses in the Third Level Track. It is designed to give students aspiring to the Ministry the tools necessary to not only rightly divide the Word of Truth; but to impart the same to others whether it be one-on-one, a class setting, a pulpit or any other ministerial challenge that is set before them. Besides learning how to interpret the scripture, students will learn how to write sermons, etc.

Students will engage in a broad spectrum of Christian doctrine and be prepared to recognize, understand and communicate with others who practice various other religions, doctrines and lifestyles.

In these ever-changing times, students pursuing this degree will always be ready to give an answer for the hope that lies within them.

Upon receiving this degree, each student is expected to be able to conduct biblical research, knoq how to properly interpret the scriptures, and how to write sermons.

You can begin or continue spiritual leadership in ministry wherever God calls you. You will think biblically and theologically about your surroundings and how you do ministry.

- - Serve your community with your skills to lead, counsel, and disciple others;
  - Serve as Children’s & Youth Leaders, Worship Leader, and Bible Study Leaders;
  - Participate in Missions Work, visiting the elderly, sick and shuti n;
  - Visit those who are in jail.

MINISTRY OF THE HOLY SPIRIT

Just think for a moment that God the father would send down His one and only son Jesus Christ to save you and me. That would make you to run around your house, jump around your church in ecstatic praise. Once we grab a hold of this reality and meditate on that big plan of redemption, it makes our heart overjoyed, but God didn’t just stop there. From there He continued one step further because He wants us to literally have the presence of the Holy Spirit with us. He comes down as a Paraclete. He enters in us for those who accept Jesus Christ His son as our own personal savior. Once the Holy Spirit enters into our hearts, each believer, once you get saved, we have some powerful and profound things that will start to happen in our life if we will open up ourself to some of His different ministries. You hear me say His because the Holy Spirit is a person.

Here’s what we are going to attempt to address in this class as we look at the ministries of the Holy Spirit. We are going to look at how does the Holy Spirit draw the unsaved sinner to Christ. How does He convict both you and me as believers? How does He regenerate our human spirits when our lives are jacked up. How does He regenerate us? How does He draw us closer to the Lord and sanctify us? How He ministers to us through prayer — a prayer life and He guides us through all truth. He will anoint us with divine power. He will be our helper and our comforter. We will also look at the nine gifts of the Holy Spirit and the nine fruits of the Holy Spirit.

CULTS

This course is designed to expose how the enemy is attacking the body of chirist in the form of cults and the occult. In this area of study we will explore not only the difference between cults and the occult, but also the fine line between cults and the church because sometimes the lines get a little bit blurry.

Throughout this course of study we will be encouraged to re-evaluate personal ideas about those involved in the occult and cults and make connections to acadamic attitudes, faith, true deliverance, demonic manipulation and behaviors. Each class will challenge everyone’s perspective about cults and the occult and shed the light of the Word of God to expose how the enemy is working through these practices, rituals, beliefs, and false tenets of religion.

WORLD RELIGIONS

During this course we will survey major world religions to understand what they believe and why they believe what they believe. This is not just to study and get information, but it will help us both in evangelism and apologetics. We will better be able to share the Gospel with those people because we will understand where they are spiritually and we will respect where they are and then introduce them to Christianity and also because we know what they believe about Christianity, we will able to defend our faith better.

We will be surveying world religions noting essentials of each religion so that we could understand what they believe why the believe what they believe and certain things that are specific to each one of them. We will be looking at the major beliefs of each religion.

Virtual doesn't mean alone. Our classes are interactive. Students just like you gather together online and study the Bible in a systematic manner. Some are students wanting to grow spiritually, some are missionaries pursuing a degree, others are people who are just like you; who are learning so that they may become, pastors, teachers, and leaders in their individual churches and ministries.

We offer structured schedules which enables you to not only study online, but to also engage with teachers and other students who are sharing in the same pursuit for knowledge.

I grew up Catholic, worshipped idols, and practiced a mixture of what is in the Bible and the church's teachings. Bethel Bible Institute taught me to believe and practice only what is written in Scripture and study it systematically. The Word of God says, "Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman who needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth."(2 Tim. 2:15 ). I now know that there is only one true and living God, and my Diploma in Bible Studies will enable me to win souls to Christ.

I have attended Bethel Bible Institute over a course of 10 years starting out taking one class at a time simply with the desire of a systematic study of the Bible as a new believer. Since then I have progressed to obtaining my Bachelor's degree. BBI has given me a solid foundation in my knowledge of the Word which has challenged me to grow, to study purposefully, and to share the Word with others. Every course has been inspirational. Each professor offers a wealth of Biblical knowledge and insight to instruct, edify and engage the students.

Romans 12.2 (KJV) states, in part, “…but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, …”. Once you delight in the Lord, he will give you the desires of your heart (Psalms 37:4-ESV). I was seeking a way to study God's word…BBI. When the best bible school in town decided to use the ZOOM platform to spread GOD'S word…BBI. I desired to learn HIS word to be a better leader for the men’s ministry I am apart of…BBI.

It's never too late to go back to school. It has been 30+ years since I was in a classroom environment. In May 2023, I should be obtaining the Biblical Studies diploma. Just give GOD your YES and allow HIM to do the rest.

I have found BBI to be a source of blessing. It has allowed me to grow in the Word of God on a deeper level.

The teachers are not spoon feeding you but they challenge you to think, to not take things at the surface level, but to research what you are being taught , but most importantly, what does the Word of God say about that particular topic. I have learned not to be a careless listener, but BBI has also created in me an insatiable hunger to know God more and His love for us.

Since BBI is now online, it enables me to learn wherever I am. Attending BBI has increased my knowledge of God's Word. I've learned how the Old and New Testaments are connected, and iearning how to search the scriptures has increased my understanding more than I can say.
