1st & 2nd Samuel

First and Second Samuel cover a transitional period in the history of ancient Israel. Leadership passes from Eli the priest to Samuel the judge, from Samuel to Saul the king, and ultimately from Saul to David.

This course examines Samuel's unique role as the link between the period of the judges and the establishment of the monarchy. Students will explore the lives and ministries of Samuel, Saul, and David and their significance in God's plan for Israel.

Discipleship

An in-depth study of the true meaning, cost, and results of being a disciple of Jesus Christ. Making disciples is essential to fulfilling the Great Commission, and understanding discipleship is essential to making disciples.

Dispensations & Covenants

A study of the seven dispensations and eight major covenants found throughout Scripture, examining God's progressive dealings with humanity and His unfolding plan of redemption.

Evangelism

Evangelism is a powerful course, and we will, in this class, go through the information and content of the Gospel so that you will be able to clearly and confidently share the Gospel with anyone who the Lord will direct your steps to. In addition to that, this course also will be a practical application for you to participate in activities where you will use what you're learning in class in a very structured way so that you can not only learn, but also do. 

It is a level one course, and it is a course that everyone should take. Even if you have taken it before, you can take it as a refresher. Guest speakers will share how the Lord has used them to spread the Gospel in creative and meaningful ways, sparking your faith and helping you discern how God wants to use you to spread the Gospel.

Examining the Names of God

We will see that many of God's names come as a result of a person's personal interaction with Him. Christianity and Judaism are known for serving the one true God. Other religions serve many gods, but what sets us apart is that our one true God is known by many names, each revealing something about His nature and character.

We're going to explore in this class, the names of God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son, and lastly, the names of the Holy Spirit– how they're identified through Scripture.

Feasts of Israel

Why study the feasts of Israel? Why are these feasts as important to believers today as they were in Old Testament times?

This course explores the prophetic significance of Israel's feasts and their connection to the New Testament. Students will discover how the Old Testament provides a shadow of things to come and how understanding these connections enriches biblical interpretation.

Special attention is given to Passover, Unleavened Bread, Firstfruits, Pentecost, and Trumpets, examining their relationship to Christ's redemptive work and God's prophetic plan.

Five Books of Moses

A survey of the major events recorded by Moses in Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy, with emphasis on their historical, theological, and practical significance.

General Bible

An overview of the books of the Bible, including their origin, canonization, structure, authorship, major characters, and significant events.

Genesis – Creation vs. Evolution

A study of the biblical account of the creation of humanity, animals, the earth, and the universe in comparison with various scientific theories and explanations concerning evolution.

History of Israel

This course will focus primarily on the 12 historical books of the Old Testament, from Joshua to Esther and of course we will have to talk about Moses a little bit, but we'll have a little look at his nation of Israel and his relationship with God, and how they failed so miserably.

 How did they serve God? We're going to look at their spiritual and moral decline under these many judges and leaders and kings that they had. We're going to look at their possession and dispossession of the promised land and the consequences of disobedience and rejection of God. 

How to Study the Bible

Have you ever listened to someone teach from a familiar passage of Scripture and wondered how they discovered truths you had never noticed? This course helps students learn how to unlock the riches of God's Word through effective methods of Bible study.

Students will explore devotional study, chapter study, thematic study, biographical study, word studies, and practical methods for applying Scripture to daily life.

Inter-Testament History

Many people refer to this period of time as the 400 years or silent years because there is a general belief that during these years from the closing of the Old Testament text with Malachi until the time of John the Baptist, no prophet spoke in the land of Israel and no official text of Scripture was being developed. It was as if God was silent; however, one needs to understand that though God may have seemed silent, He was not inactive. He was very much at work, and that is what this Inter-Testament History course will address.

Jeremiah

We will explore Jeremiah's call, his message, his ministry and his courage, as well as his faithfulness, his obedience and trust in God during his tribulation. We will consider the prophet's life in regards to his courage, his faithfulness, his trust in God, during tribulations. We will carefully look at the following: the fulfillment of God's prophetic word spoken by his prophet reminding us that God is true to his word. God's judgment of sin is balanced with His grace and His mercy and hope. That there is a blessing for obedience, that God is going to present His new covenant. Finally we will discuss the importance of this book and the application to the 21st Century church, as well as to us individually.

Kings of Israel

A study of the kings of the divided kingdom of Israel and Judah, examining their reigns, successes, failures, and influence upon Israel's relationship with God.

Major Prophets

A study of the major prophetic books of the Old Testament: Isaiah, Jeremiah, Lamentations, Ezekiel, and Daniel.

Ministry of Prayer

This course seeks to show the vital contribution of prayer in developing the whole person mentally, physically, and spiritually. A study is made of both Old Testament and New Testament prayer life, with special emphasis on the prayer life of Jesus and the early Church. This approach helps the student realize how prayer becomes a resident, active, creative force in Christian living.

Minor Prophets

This course will explore the 12 minor prophets. In the Bible we are very familiar with groups of 12. We have the 12 tribes of Israel, we have the 12 apostles; but many are not familiar with this group of 12 books that's called the minor prophets. The minor prophets, even though they are small in size as far as chapters are concerned, are powerful in their impact and in their message; and so as we work though these 12 books, you will learn about each individual prophet, how they were unique.

Old Testament Survey

An overview of the books of the Old Testament, their writers, major characters, themes, and significant events.

Personal Divine Life

A study of the believer's spiritual life and relationship with Christ. The course focuses on personal growth, prayer, character development, and Christian service.

Poetic Books

The poetic books is mankind speaking to God, its mankind expressing the good and bad experiences they had. The first book is the Book of Job and the book questions the reasons for suffering. We will talk about the mystery of suffering and the background of Job. We will study the Psalms. Psalms is man's response to God's revelation of Himself, and we worship Him. It's a book of prayer and praise and the hymn book of the Old Testament. We will study them by category. We study Proverbs also the rules from heaven, Ecclesiastes — man's search for life, and the Song of Solomon or Song of Songs which is about the love between a man and a women, according to evangelicals, between Christ and His bride and between Solomon and the Shunammite women. We will look at the different perspectives and discuss the different views.

Tabernacle of David

The Tabernacle of David serves as an Old Testament picture of worship based upon faith and grace.

This course compares the structure, ceremonies, and order of worship associated with David's Tabernacle and contrasts them with the Tabernacle of Moses.

Tabernacles & Temples

An insightful study of the various tabernacles and temples established throughout biblical history, examining their purpose, design, symbolism, and significance in God's redemptive plan.

The Book of Daniel

Everything that is happening in the world today has already been foretold by God. It's in the book, but we don't connect the Word of God to what is happening today. When we think of Daniel, we think of basically four young men who were taken into captivity, but the truth of the matter is the Book of Daniel is about the God of history. He created history. Everything that is happening, everything that will happen, God has already foretold. We’re told that the Southern Kingdom of Judah would be taken into captivity by Babylon by Nebuchadnezzar; and they would be there for about 70 years. He said that when they came out of captivity, they would not be guilty of idolatry anymore; so, 70 years of captivity cured Israel from idolatry. One of the things we will find out is that it's dangerous to take God’s glory. Nebuchadnezzar took God's glory by taking credit for himself and God punished him. That lets us know not to mess with God’s glory. For seven years the man walked around like an animal. He didn’t even know who he was or where he was.

History is already written. All we must do is read the book, follow God's instructions and live the life that we are supposed to live; and you will find Daniel himself and the other three friends, and all the interesting characters in this book.

The Book of Job

This course examines the story of Job, a man who lost his wealth, family, and health while wrestling with one of life's most difficult questions: Why?

Students will explore themes of suffering, faith, perseverance, divine sovereignty, and God's purposes in the midst of adversity.

The Pentateuch

The Pentateuch is the first five books of the Old Testament or the Hebrew Bible. Sometimes it is referred to as the Law of Moses. In this class, students will consider whether the Laws of Moses should be referred to simply as "the law." The course examines Genesis as the book of beginnings, Exodus as the book of deliverance, Leviticus as the book of holy living, Numbers as the organization of Israel, and Deuteronomy as Moses' summation of God's purpose for Israel.

The Psalms

The Psalms are inspired songs, prayers, and expressions of worship written by various authors over approximately one thousand years of Israel's history.

This course explores the Psalms as a devotional guide, hymnbook, and expression of faith. Students will examine their historical setting, literary structure, theological themes, and prophetic significance.

Special attention is given to the interpretation of the Psalms, their Christological significance, and their continuing value for worship, prayer, and spiritual growth.

The Ten Commandments

There are 630 specific commandments that the Jews recognized as the commandments that commanded them to order their lives. Those laws were given in the Old Testament under the dispensation of law; so are we, as Christians, subject to those 10 commandments? That is the question we do not know how to answer or if we do answer the question, we do not know how to provide a clear biblical basis for our answer. This class will provide you with the ability to answer that question clearly. In this class you will be studying the setting of the journey of the commandments, the commandments themselves and how they relate to the dispensation of grace.

Worship & Praise

This course establishes the connection between Old Testament and New Testament worship and explores God's pattern for approaching Him. Students will examine the Tabernacle of Moses, the Levitical priesthood, and the sacrificial system to gain a deeper understanding of biblical worship and praise.

Acts

For 40 of the most unusual days ever experienced, the risen Christ presented Himself alive. Hundreds, maybe thousands had seen Jesus die. [inaudible] Many convincing proofs were given during those days. Jesus gave demonstrated evidence of the resurrection that He not only got up, but also displayed Himself in living witness among those who had no belief in the resurrection. He came to the disciples to give them courage for ministry. By His words and visibility Jesus assured them that the same God who had snatched Him from the process of death would be the same to them as they lived out the commission to “go into the world and make disciples.” That is a historical moment between the Gospels and the Epistles. 

Because of this strong emphasis on the history of the Holy Spirit, it is really to be regarded as a fact of the Holy Spirit of Christ, working on your behalf; that it is an important event. This is building this new Christianity, from an essential Christ, spreading throughout the Roman Empire.

The Ancient Jewish Wedding

I'm sure, maybe some of you have never heard of the Rapture or don't fully understand what the Rapture is, who's involved, when it takes place, and that sort of thing. But I want you to know that the ancient Jewish wedding reveals the exact patterns for the future fraction of the church. There was nothing in the Bible put there by happenenstance or without a plan. God knows exactly what He's doing, and He's taking that Jewish wedding, an ancient Jewish wedding and showing us the rapture which is yet to come. 

The weddings today are not the same as the ancient Jewish weddings however. What are 14 steps to the ancient Jewish wedding? As we go through the study and learn what these steps are, you will see the order of God.

Book of Revelation

An intensive synthetical, Christological, and analytical study of the events and personages outlined in the Book of Revelation from a premillennial viewpoint.

Book of Romans

In this course, students will undergo an intensive study in the book of Romans for personal devotion and purposes and lifestyle positions now. The student will understand principles that make for their personal growth in grace and knowledge of the Lord, while exploring Paul's address on sinfulness of humanity, the universality of the gospel for both Jews and Gentiles and the importance of unity and love within the person’s community. 

Book of Hebrews

An expositional study of the Book of Hebrews and the Better Covenant, demonstrating the superiority of Christianity over Judaism and the supremacy of our Lord Jesus Christ over all.

Christ in the Scriptures

A detailed look at Christ and the types of Christ found throughout each book of the Bible.

Christian Living

Many Christians struggle with understanding who they are in Christ and what it truly means to live the Christian life. This course seeks to help believers discover both their identity in Christ and their relationship with the One they serve.

Through biblical study and practical application, students will examine key themes of Christian growth, spiritual maturity, discipleship, and holy living. Special attention is given to the imagery of Christ as the Good Shepherd, the Great Shepherd, and the Chief Shepherd, and how these perspectives influence the believer's walk with God.

The goal of this course is to help students understand what it means to be a Christian, how to live in a manner that pleases God, how to minister effectively to others, and how to put on the whole armor of God.

Church History

This course surveys the history of the Christian Church from its earliest beginnings to the present day. Students will examine the development of Christianity, key movements, influential Christian leaders, major breakthroughs, and significant cultural events that shaped the church.

The course also demonstrates how periods of adversity often strengthened the church and contributed to its growth and expansion throughout the world.

Elemental Theology

Christians, more than ever, need a basic introduction to Bible doctrine that is systematic and true to Scripture. Many in and outside the church do not understand how biblical doctrine is formed, how it intersects with Christian thought and life, and how it serves as a foundation for what Christians believe.

Students will survey the essential teachings of Scripture that distinguish Christianity from all other religions while gaining a broad understanding of biblical theology. This course covers the Canon of Scripture, the doctrine of God, the doctrine of Jesus Christ, the doctrine of the Holy Spirit, angels, Satan and demons, humanity, sin, salvation, the church, and last things.

General Epistles

The General Epistles are named after their authors rather than the churches or individuals to whom they were written. Most were addressed to all Christians rather than specific congregations.

This course surveys the Epistle of James, First and Second Peter, First, Second, and Third John, and Jude, examining their authorship, themes, and practical application for believers today.

Inductive Bible Study

The inductive method is an investigative approach to studying Scripture that can be used by both new and experienced students of the Bible.

This course teaches students how to observe, interpret, and apply Scripture effectively, providing a deeper understanding of what a passage says, what it meant to its original audience, and what it means for believers today.

Levitical Priesthood

What is the Levitical priesthood? It is not the Aaronic priesthood, but in this class, we will focus on being called to serve and how we are to serve. God has order. He deserves excellence, and He is holy. His holiness is not our holiness. What we may get away with before people will not pass with God. The Bible says that all our righteousness is as filthy rags in the sight of God, so we will learn what it means to serve God and how we are to serve Him.

We will learn the difference between our calling and being called. Do you know what your calling is? Are you operating in it? We have a lot to learn from the Levites. We will examine who the Levites were, why God chose this group of people to serve Him, and the circumstances surrounding their service. Students will also consider whether it is possible to be called to serve God and fail to serve according to His instructions.

Angelology

What the Bible really teaches about fallen angels, demons, and the chief of the fallen angels, Satan, as well as the need to fully understand the great powers and activity of God's angels who remain holy and true to Him and who resist Satan and his angels.

Believer's Authority

The Believer's Authority explores what it means for Christians to live and serve under the authority of Jesus Christ. The course emphasizes a balanced, Christ-centered, and Spirit-dependent understanding of authority, equipping believers to walk in obedience and fulfill God's purpose.

Christianity v. Islam

A course which equips the student to earnestly contend (polemics) and defend (apologetics) the Christian faith against the teachings of Islam. Topics include: Jehovah or Allah is God; Jesus or Mohammed is Messiah; the Koran or the Bible is God's book.

Cults

This course is designed to expose how the enemy is attacking the body of Christ in the form of cults and the occult. In this area of study, students will explore not only the difference between cults and the occult, but also the fine line between cults and the church.

Crisis in Christian Music

Today there is a crisis in Christian music. Secular, pagan, and even occult musical styles have crept into the church, all dressed up with new Christian lyrics. Old, traditional hymns, tried and true, have been thrown on the scrap heap of church history. Naively, pastors, music directors, and younger members of congregations have often unknowingly embraced musical styles that can have spiritually negative effects on their listeners.

Demonology

The study of demons or beliefs about demons.

Doctrine of Hell

An in-depth study of the biblical teaching concerning the existence and realities of hell.

Doctrine of Angels and Archangels

This course explores the biblical foundation and spiritual significance of these celestial beings. Students will study angels as messengers and servants of God, highlighting their role in biblical narrative and their interactions with humanity. The course examines the hierarchy of angels, distinguishing between ordinary angels and archangels such as Michael and Gabriel, who hold unique positions and responsibilities in the heavenly realm.

The course also emphasizes the active and ongoing ministry of angels in the lives of believers today, including protection, guidance, and deliverance in accordance with God's will. Additionally, the role of the Holy Spirit in discerning angelic activity and the importance of aligning our understanding with Scripture are key points of focus. Throughout the course, students are encouraged to maintain a balanced and biblically grounded view of angels.

The Doctrine of Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit

Examines the biblical teaching concerning the person and work of Jesus Christ and the role of the Holy Spirit in the life of the believer and the church. The course emphasizes doctrinal clarity, biblical authority, and Spirit-empowered living.

Eschatology

A detailed study of "last things"; what God has revealed to us in Scripture concerning His plan for the future, His purpose, and His program.

Experiencing God

This course focuses on getting to know God better. Believing and experiencing God's infinite love daily, hearing when God speaks, identifying the direction God is taking in your life, and recognizing what He wants to do through you are some of the subjects that will be covered.

Five-Fold Ministry

The 5-Fold Ministry outlines a divinely-ordained structure for church leadership – apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers. It is imperative to state that these 5 offices are not merely titles, they are not honorary titles or to be given away, but the calling is bestowed on individuals from the Lord to prepare God’s people for work, to equip and to bring growth and maturity and unity in Him. 

This course is not designed to position or entitle any person, but rather bring clarity of what God intends from those chosen to fulfill the mandates on the title. In the context of church leadership, these roles offer a dynamic framework in which the entire church can trust. When recognized and nurtured properly, each role contributes to the development, and health of the congregation.

Fruit of the Spirit

The fruit of the Spirit described in Galatians 5:22–23 reveals the character of God as formed in the life of the believer through the work of the Holy Spirit. This course provides an in-depth study of each of the nine virtues, examining how spiritual growth transforms character as believers grow in grace and in the knowledge of Jesus Christ.

Hebraic Connection

A fascinating study of Christianity and its connection to Judaism, both in biblical times and today.

Homiletics

The study of the art and science of preparing and delivering sermons. This course uses a laboratory approach to long and short textual preaching, with emphasis on Scriptural analysis, background materials, and preaching style.

Introduction to Prophecy

This course examines the basics of prophecy, including defining true prophecy, the purpose of prophecy, the realms of prophecy, the gift versus the office, the order of prophesying, and other related matters.

Kingdom Stewardship

This course explores the concept of the Kingdom of God and biblical stewardship. Students will examine the duality of earthly citizenship and heavenly citizenship, learning how to navigate both realms as followers of Christ.

As disciples of Christ, believers are called to live intentional and relevant lives that glorify the King and His Kingdom. The course examines kingdom purpose, kingdom values, kingdom perspective, kingdom priorities, and kingdom posture.

Students will also explore the foundations of kingdom stewardship, including the mindset, motivation, scope, sphere, structure, strategy, and rewards of faithful stewardship in the Kingdom of God.

Ministerial Excellence

An in-depth study of the character and lifestyle of every Christian, as well as those called to special ministries. The course also examines the calling and personalities of the twelve disciples who were personally instructed by Christ.

Ministerial Ethics

Explains the unique moral role of the minister and the ethical responsibilities of the vocation. The course seeks to provide a clear statement of the ethical obligations contemporary clergy should assume in their personal and professional lives.

Ministry of the Holy Spirit

The biblical teaching relating to the doctrine of the Holy Spirit. This course provides a theological and historical examination of the person and work of the Holy Spirit from Old Testament times to the present.

Pastoral Theology

This course is designed for pastors and ministerial students who desire a practical study that keeps pastoral guidelines in constant focus. The course examines the pastor's life, calling, and the general care he provides for his flock.

Praise & Worship

This course explores the biblical concept of praise and worship and asks what constitutes genuine worship. Students will examine whether worship is simply outward expression or something deeper that flows from knowing who God is and what He requires of His people.

Through biblical study, students will learn how to integrate worship with prayer, gain a deeper understanding of praise and worship, write a new song unto the Lord, and study the life and worship of Jesus Christ Himself.

Prophetic Boot Camp 1

This course is an intense journey into the realm of the prophetic. Students will explore the role of prophetic ministry and why it remains important in the church today.

The class addresses common questions about prophecy, prophetic ministry, and prophetic people. Students will learn how to properly respond to prophetic words and how to apply biblical principles to prophetic ministry.

This course is not only for those who desire prophetic ministry but also for anyone seeking a better understanding of the prophetic.

Providence

This course is going to give you a theological and sound definition of providence, which is God's purposeful sovereignty by which He will be completely successful in the achievement of His ultimate goal for the universe. God's providence carries His plan into action.

This course is going to look at providence in the Old Testament and in the New Testament, and how it has been revealed throughout church history. It looks at God's covenantal dealings with Israel, governments, over kings, and nations; and His infinite care for individuals. As we look through the scriptures and church history, we will get a greater understanding and assurance of what God is doing on the Earth now. He is still in control, and He is still governing everything according to His will and purpose.

Spiritual Gifts

Now, everyone knows that they are given a gift, but how does the gift operate? How can you identify the gift that God has given you? In this class, the students will be able to examine the key scripture passages about the gifts, knowing their purpose within the church and explore how to rightly identify and use their own spiritual gifts for God's glory and to build up His body and kingdom.

The objective of this course is to understand the biblical foundation and purpose for the spiritual gifts, identify and distinguish between the gifts listed in key scripture passages, to reflect on the operation of spiritual gifts in the early church and even today, and to discern. This is one of the greatest parts of this course, is to discern your own spiritual gifts and learn how to operate in them.

The Devil's Door

If you feel vulnerable to attacks of the enemy, then perhaps you are leaving a door open to the devil. This course equips students with the knowledge needed to avoid deception and teaches how obedience is the key to divine protection.

Typology

This course examines the types and symbols found throughout Scripture, with special emphasis on those found in the Tabernacle.

World Religions

During this course, students will survey major world religions to understand what they believe and why they believe it. The course is designed not only to provide information but also to strengthen evangelism and apologetics.

Students will learn how to better share the Gospel with people of other faiths by understanding their beliefs, respecting their spiritual journey, and thoughtfully introducing them to Christianity. The course also helps students defend the Christian faith by examining how various religions view Christianity.

Special attention is given to the major beliefs, practices, and distinctive teachings of the world's major religions.

Authority of the Believer

A study of the authority all believers possess when engaged in spiritual warfare.

Blood Covenant

The covenant of God with His people has always been sealed with blood. This course examines the covenant relationship between God and His people as demonstrated throughout the Word of God.

Book of Matthew

This course is based upon the Gospel of Matthew. Matthew, a former tax collector, penned the Gospel that bears his name. He addressed the deteriorating state of the church and sought to bring correction to disillusioned, wayward, and overconfident believers.

Students will examine Matthew's presentation of righteousness, discipleship, and the reasons for the Lord's delay in returning. The message of Matthew remains relevant for the church in every generation and every land.

Christian Life

This course is designed to teach believers how they are to live. Scripture teaches that, whenever possible, Christians are to live at peace, especially within the household of faith.

The course provides practical steps toward a balanced Christian walk. Students will learn that the initiatives of the Christian life begin with God and that believers are called to respond in faith and obedience to His leading.

Ephesians

The Letter to the Ephesians is loaded with valuable information, not only about who we are and our position in Christ, but also about the responsibilities we have as Christians. Sometimes we take those responsibilities for granted; we want from God what He is supposed to do for us, but we also have a responsibility to God. Ephesians was not written to correct specific errors in a local church, but to prevent problems in the church as a whole by encouraging the body of Christ to maturity.

It also discusses the difference between spiritual gifts and ministry gifts.

Faith Dynamics – Part 1

Examines the doctrine and practice of faith in the Christian life. The course emphasizes trusting God's Word and acting upon that trust as an essential element of spiritual growth and obedience.

Hermeneutics

Hermeneutics is the theory and methodology of interpretation, especially the interpretation of biblical texts, wisdom literature, and philosophical writings.

Journey to Spiritual Formation

This course examines biblical perspectives on God's plans and purposes for humanity and explores how God, through His love and grace, develops the believer's character through various stages of spiritual growth.

Leadership 101

Explores biblical principles of leadership with an emphasis on servant leadership, integrity, and spiritual maturity. The course challenges students to examine their motivations for leadership and develop a Christ-centered approach to leading others.

Principles & Power of Prayer

As believers, we all know the importance of prayer. Scripture reveals that importance by telling us to pray continually. Romans 12:12 states, “Be joyful in hope, patient in tribulation, continuing steadfastly in prayer.” First Thessalonians 5:16–18 says, “Rejoice evermore, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.” Praying without ceasing is the will of God.

Prayers, in both the Old Testament and New Testament, place special emphasis on the prayer life of Jesus and the early church. You will see the vital contribution of prayer to the whole person's physical, mental, and spiritual being. Some of the objectives of this course are to develop the ability to continually and to prayerfully minister unto the Lord and the body of Christ in your personal prayer life; also to develop an understanding of the vital role that prayer plays in the maturity process of the body of Christ

The Gospel of John

This course explores the Gospel of John, a unique and powerful presentation of Jesus Christ. The Fourth Gospel describes the mystery of the identity of Jesus and develops a Christology—an explanation of Christ’s nature and origin—while leaving out much of the familiar material that runs through the synoptic Gospels of Matthew, Mark and Luke. The Gospel of John highlights Jesus as the eternal Word who became flesh and dwelt among us, revealing God's masterpiece of redemption through Christ. Students will search both the Old and New Testaments to gain a deeper appreciation for the preeminence of Christ as revealed in John's Gospel.

The Healing Covenant

This course examines the ministry of healing and the various forms of healing found in Scripture, including physical, emotional, relational, and spiritual healing.

Students will explore the purpose of sickness, the need for healing, God's covenant promises concerning healing, and the biblical process through which healing is ministered to the Body of Christ.

The Royal Priesthood

This course presents studies in the priesthood of the believer. It is intended to help believers "come boldly to the throne" and understand the functions, responsibilities, and blessings of serving as priests in the body of Christ.

Theology of Worship

This course places emphasis on who we worship and why we worship. Through biblical study and practical application, students examine the dynamics of worship and its relationship to faith in the life of the believer.

Cults and Occults

An examination of cults and occult practices from a biblical perspective. Students will learn to identify false teachings, understand their influence, and develop a biblical response to spiritual deception.

Developing Counseling Ministry

This course explores the biblical foundations of counseling ministry and provides practical principles for ministering to individuals through guidance, encouragement, discipleship, and spiritual care.

Finding God's Will

Examines biblical principles for discerning God's guidance in everyday decisions. The course emphasizes Scripture, wisdom, discernment, and the role of the Holy Spirit in understanding and following God's will.

Interpreting Signs and Symbols

This course explores the meaning and interpretation of signs and symbols found throughout Scripture, helping students understand their biblical significance and application.

Introduction to Charismatic Theory

This course focuses on the person and work of the Holy Spirit and addresses many of the doctrinal questions surrounding charismatic theology and practice.

Students will examine the ministry of the Holy Spirit as the active agent of God in the earth today and study the biblical foundation for the gifts of the Spirit. The course also includes a brief examination of the Azusa Street Revival and its influence on modern Pentecostal and charismatic movements.

Special attention is given to the practical operation of spiritual gifts, helping believers understand how to exercise their gifts effectively and biblically within the church.

Introduction to Leadership

An introductory study of leadership principles, emphasizing servant leadership, personal responsibility, integrity, and effective influence from a biblical perspective.

Introduction to Management

An introduction to management principles, organizational leadership, planning, administration, and effective stewardship of resources within ministry and organizational settings.

Kingdom Living

This course examines the principles, values, and lifestyle of citizens of the Kingdom of God, emphasizing practical Christian living and faithful discipleship.

Major and Minor Prophets

We will survey the major and minor prophets of the Old Testament, examining their lives and ministries, the environments in which they ministered, and the impact of their messages on the people they served. Students will also examine the role of New Testament prophets and consider whether prophetic ministry continues in the church today.

New Testament Survey

New Testament Survey serves as a foundational course for biblical studies. Students will explore the writings, themes, and major teachings of the New Testament.

The course examines the lives and ministries of key New Testament figures, including Jesus Christ, the Apostle Paul, and the Apostle John. Students will gain a deeper appreciation for God's redemptive plan revealed throughout the New Testament.

The course concludes with an in-depth study of the Book of Revelation and its significance within the New Testament canon.

Old & New Testament Prophets

We will survey the major and minor prophets of the Old Testament and we will be examining the lives and ministries of those prophets, the environment in which they ministered and the impact of their message on the people they ministered to. Did the people respond to the prophet’s message? How did they respond? Not only will we be looking at the Old Testament prophets, we will also want to examine the roles of the New Testament prophets. Is the prophetic ministry for the church today? Did the office of the prophet cease with the passing of the apostles? What do you think? We’ll discuss the gifts and functions of the prophet In today’s church and decide on that question. So we will be examining both the Old Testament prophets and the New Testament prophets.

Pastoral Ministry

The term pastoral ministry relates to shepherds and their responsibility for caring for sheep. Scripture associates pastoral ministry with teaching, shepherding, and caring for the flock of God.

Women's Roles in the 21st Century

This course examines the role of women in contemporary society, ministry, family, and the church from a biblical perspective, addressing both opportunities and challenges facing women in the twenty-first century.
