Stay on Course Study Guide
Each level of study, 1 through 4 requires 10 classes in order to graduate and advance to the next level.
Level 1: Biblical Studies/30 credits
Biblical Studies consists of Old Testament classes which are foundational studies. If you start systematically with classes from Level 1, you are taking all 10 classes and building a foundation for a systematic study of the Word of God. This way, when you get to Level 3, you won’t have to return to Level 1 simply because you don’t have enough foundation classes to advance to the Bachelors Program. In Level 1 you will need 10 classes for a total of 30 credits in order to meet the requirements necessary for a diploma in Biblical Studies.
Note: If you take Bachelors classes – Level 4 – they will not be counted as far as access to the Bachelors Program; they will count as undergraduate classes only. You can take Bachelors courses and get credit for them only once you reach the Bachelors level.
Level 2: Associates Program/30 credits
After completing 10 classes in the Associates Program, you will have earned an additional 30 credits, giving you 60 credits. Level 2 would be New Testament classes including: the Synoptic Gospels, the Book of Acts, and the Book of Romans. You would take the Pastoral Epistles and the General Epistles – classes that are New Testament teachings. BBI will list these classes for you to earn the 30 credits required for an Associates Degree and move into Level 3 classes.
Level 3: Ministerial Program/30 credits
This is a ministerial diploma course and you would need to take an additional 10 classes. We have classes such as Kingdom Stewardship, Ministry of Angels and Archangels, and Bait of Satan. You may also have a Ministerial Ethics class. All of these are ministry level classes. They will discuss preparation for ministry; what you should do and what you should know when you’re going into ministry. After acquiring another 30 credits, you would move from here with a total of 90 credits, ready to enter the Bachelors Program.
Level 4: Bachelors Program/30 credits
You will be required to take 10 classes and those 10 classes are listed as Level 4. You will have classes such as Introduction to Charismatic Theology and Healing Covenants. Once you have graduated with your Bachelors Degree, you are eligible to enter the Masters Program which is a 2-year program. Upon completion, you will receive your Masters Degree. The Doctorate Degree follows; also a 2-year program.
